Now most of the mines around world are use diamond wires and wire saw machines for mining. A lot of water is required for cooling during the cutting operation, or even we can say that the water supply is an essential condition for use diamond wires and wire saw machines in the stone quarries. 

The working principle of wire saw machine is to drive the diamond wire to cut the stones through the rotation of main flywheel, when the diamond wire rotates at high speed, the friction between the diamond wire and the stones will make a lot of heat. If water supply is not enough for cooling the temperature down, the rubber on the diamond wire will be over heated and melt, and also, the rubber belt of the main flywheel will also  be melt by overheating. So the working life of quarry consumables, such as diamond wires, rubber belt will be very short, and also will reduce the working life of wire saw machine. Finally, greatly enhance the mining cost. So enough water supply is very important for use of diamond wires and wire saw machines in the stone quarries.
